More Than $1 Million to Council Bluffs, Marshalltown from HUD
WASHINGTON, DC – January 27, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — Senator Chuck Grassley today said that $1,045,000 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development was released to Council Bluffs and Marshalltown through the regular appropriations process.
“These funds will help provide economic development opportunities for Council Bluffs and Marshalltown,” Grassley said.
•Council Bluffs will receive $475,000 for rehabilitation and construction in the Playland Park neighborhood.
•Marshalltown will receive $570,000 to help redevelop affordable housing in the Grant Park neighborhood.
