Boswell to Highlight Affordable Housing Project with HUD Deputy Secretary
                    July 8, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) -- Congressman Leonard Boswell will join Department of Housing and  Urban Development Deputy Secretary Ron Sims and Des Moines Mayor Frank  Cownie in highlighting how $4.3 million in Recovery Act Tax Credit  Assistance Program funds are building 300 units of quality, affordable  housing at the Homes of Oakridge housing development.                
            I-JOBS, ARRA SUPPORT $18.5 MILLION IN HOUSING CONSTRUCTION
                    DES MOINES, IA - October 9, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) -- Governor Chet Culver has announced that three housing developments have been awarded a total of more than $18.5 million to construct or preserve affordable housing in central and eastern Iowa. The awards were made through the Culver/Judge I-JOBS initiative and the federal American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to support projects in Ames, Cedar Rapids and Davenport. The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) administers the programs.

                    More than $46 million approved to support nearly 500 units of affordable housing in Iowa. DES MOINES, IA - September 23, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) --  Governor Chet Culver announced today that affordable housing projects throughout the state have been awarded a total of more than $46 million to create or preserve nearly 500 units of affordable housing. The awards were made through the Culver/Judge I-JOBS initiative and the federal American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The Iowa Finance Authority administers the programs.                
            Congressman Dave Loebsack Announces $32.2 Million in Recovery Act Funds for Weatherization Assistance
                    Washington, DC - July 6, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) — Today,  Congressman Dave Loebsack announces more than $32 million in weatherization  assistance for Iowa. The funds are from the American Recovery and Reinvestment  Act and will be used to weatherize more than 7,200 homes over the next three  years.
