Washington, DC – August 7, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — Today, Congressman Leonard Boswell announced that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grants program has awarded the city of West Des Moines with a grant of $233,692 to primarily assist its low- and moderate-income residents with housing, and to improve their overall living environment.
“This grant will help to expand economic opportunities in West Des Moines,” Boswell said. ”I am pleased that HUD has made these funds available.”
